Dog Photoshoot – Frequently Asked Questions
What happens when I book my shoot?
Once you have decided to have a photoshoot, I shall send you a welcome guide. We can then arrange a suitable date. A few days before your shoot, I will confirm timings and see if you have any questions.
How long will my photoshoot last?
You will have a two-hour time slot. When I arrive, I will spend some time getting to know you and your beloved dog and understand what you want to get out of the shoot. Then we will scout out the locations and get to work!
Do I need to be in the images?
It is up to you as to whether you want to be in the images with your dog or not. You can have a mix of images, some of your dog alone and some capturing the bond between you and your dog or why not include all the family.
Does it cost extra for more than one dog?
No, you can include all your dogs and family in your photoshoot.
Where can I have my photoshoot?
Your usual walking spot, parks, reservoirs, public footpaths, lakes, beach, fields, forest or your home etc.
Can I have a black background image as well?
This depends on the location, but we will see what we can do on the day. I usually do my shots in the entrance of a stable/barn/building as it is necessary for lighting purposes.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the shoot?
I will keep a close eye on the weather in the days leading up to your photoshoot. On the morning of the shoot, if it is raining I will contact you in the morning and confirm whether you want to go ahead. I will recommend rescheduling if the weather is bad.
My dog doesn’t go off the lead, can I still have a shoot?
Yes absolutely, I have long leads as well so we can use one of those if you like. In any purchased images, I can edit the lead out of the shot.
When can I view my images?
Depending on workload, the images will be available within 10 days but usually before! I can travel to you to show you your gallery, if this is not viable you can view your images in your own private online viewing gallery.
Do you travel anywhere?
Yes I do! Travel within 30 miles of Glossop is included in the price of the photoshoot. If outside of my area, get in touch to let me know where and mileage may be charged at 30p a mile dependant on distance.
Are you insured?
Yes, I have public liability insurance.
